Nautical Archaeology Society Training
Site Recorder has been integrated into the Nautical Archaeology Society (NAS) training program at Part 1 level.
The Student Edition of Site Recorder was originally developed for use on NAS Part 1 courses but this version has now been replaced with the full version of the program running in Demo mode. Click here for more information for NAS Tutors about these changes.
Part III level courses can be offered in the use of Site Recorder and the program has been used by us on a number of Part III level courses:
Site Recorder - A general course in the use of the software
3D Surveying - Carries on from where the Part 1 course stops, this course is intended for people wanting to know how to set up a 3D survey rather than make measurements on an existing one
Digital Data Management - Concentrates on the collection, processing, archiving, sharing and publication of digital data. Uses Site Recorder for the practical aspects.
Finds Handling - Uses Site Recorder in Demo mode as an artefact database
